John Ourant

With more than 30 years of ballroom experience, John brings a wide range of skills to the dance floor. He teaches many styles of Ballroom, Latin, Club and Swing dances for social dance and performance. He is sometimes available to his private lesson students as a partner for solo or group showcase routines. (His availability is very limited as of 2023.)

John is an avid social dancer who got his start with the UC San Diego Ballroom Dance team. He has studied with many national-level competitive dancers and is regularly seen on Friday nights at the Evergreen where he DJs and co-hosts the 1st and 3rd Friday night dance parties.
